Abstract
This community service is done in a worlcshop of writing action research proposal and writing an article based on the previous research, This community is aimed to motivate the teachers to conduct an action research and an article which can be published in an accredited journal. This community service is held infour meetings that include delivering the theory and practicing the theory. There are 52 English teachers, the alumnus of IKIP PGRI Semarang joined this event. Thqt are guided in planning an action research proposal. Moreover, thqt are given the rules in writing a scimtiJie article for a scientific journal. In conclusion, thqt are successful in writing an article which can be published in a journal. Keywords: action research, scientific article, alumnus of IKIP PGN Semarang
