Abstract

This paper aims how the wisdom contained in Indonesian cuisine. In this paper, culinary Indonesian also called culinary folk. Culinary folk not only convey the substance or content of food or drink. Culinary people also expressed views of people on social class, relationships, and age. Through cincau drinks, can be known Indonesian culture. Although underpaid, people prefer to be employees or laborers compared entrepheneur. Through beverage compote, knowable their concern over the social class to social class below. Through tumis foods, can be known that age and relation superordinate able to resolve domestic problems. Culinary people are thinking of society in resolving the problems of life.
